More than 90,800 internship positions have been posted by 193 leading companies on the Prime Minister Internship Scheme portal, just ahead of registration beginning on October 12. Companies like Jubilant Foodworks, Maruti Suzuki India, Eicher Motors, Larsen & Toubro, Muthoot Finance, and Reliance Industries are offering exciting internships as part of this initiative. The portal opened on October 3 for companies to submit available opportunities.
What is the Prime Minister Internship Scheme?

Eligibility Criteria for PM Internship Scheme 2024:

- Your family’s annual income exceeds ₹8 lakh in FY 2023-2024.
- You or an immediate family member work for the central, state, or local government, PSUs, or any other government body.
Company Eligibility:
The Ministry has selected the top 500 companies based on their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) expenditure over the past three years. Other companies may also offer internships but need approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

- Monthly Stipend: Interns will receive ₹5,000 per month for up to 12 months.
- One-Time Grant: A grant of ₹6,000 for incidentals will be transferred directly upon joining.
